Led by Italian-born, Sydney-based guitarist and composer Stefano Rocco, the Stefano Rocco Quartet blends jazz influences into cinematic, story-driven compositions. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Pat Metheny, the quartet explores evocative melodies, dynamic grooves and spacious soundscapes, combining a strong sense of narrative with the freedom of live improvisation. A captivating and emotionally charged live experience. Recensies “crisp and audacious… a sparkling gem of an album” — Edward Blanco – AllAboutJazz “With ‘Wildlife’, Stefano Rocco shows ambition and creates innovative, inspired compositions that are instantly appealing” — Bernard Lefèvre – jazzhalo.be “Rocco’s musical tastes are both complex and unexpected, and the album’s arrangements reflect his refined artistry.” — Filipe Freitas – Jazztrail.net
